  her only comment was it was about time they made some modest clothing.

  I think people should wear what they want to. My problem is people act like if you don’t wear a hijab or some other religiously sanctioned attire you are somehow less than those who do.

  I celebrate whatever strikes my fancy at the time. I always get flowers on Valentines from my husband. Christmas - sometimes we go all out sometimes not. Birthdays are usually a nice dinner together or sometimes the casino 😮

  is it wrong for a jehovah's witness to allow an unmarried couple to live together under their roof?

  same room, same bed, they are allowing full on cohabitation.

  The book burning has started

  don't know if this is a global thing but i've just been told by a pimo member of my old congregation that a min servant has been given the task of destroying all old books/literature in the kh library prior to 1992.. could be the elders (or even one of them) on a mission to stamp out dissent as my ex-wife used the same reasoning to her elder dad that i used in my jc: rutherfords books containing failed predictions.. anyone else heared anything?.

  the ms who's been given the task is a company man.

  no hope of him keeping them or selling them on ebay.. they have some russell books in that library too.

  i knew many witness wives with unbelieving mates who pretty much led a double life.

  “my husband says i have to go the workplace christmas party.” or my mate tells me i have to make a thanksgiving dinnner.

  or “ my mate insists i do things in the bedroom that i know the watchtower has talked against.

  I wish he would stop tweeting. But I am happy with the economy and tax reforms so far. I max out my 401k, take every deduction permissible and still wind up paying nearly $30k in just federal income tax, and I am not anywhere near being a 1%er. My company is also one that is giving money back to the employees due to the tax reform bill. So far so good, if he would just shut up.......😀

  Cart Witnessing at Library

  hello everyone, i live here in the states, and over the past summer and fall, i noticed that several times when i went to the public library there were witnesses sitting outside next to the door with their cart.

  usually a couple of old geezers just sitting there racking up field service time.

  my question is, do they have to get special permission from the city to do this?

  My Boyfriend's Family Wants to Meet Mine (My Parent's are JWs) Help!

  so i have been "faded" for approximately 2.5 years.

  my parents know i haven't attended a meeting in quite some time, but don't know that i have been dating a guy for about eight months.

  we really love each other and his family is super sweet.

  My now husband didn’t meet my parents for more than 10 years after we were married. Explain to your boyfriend the realities of parents being in a cult. They will understand. I refused to give my JW relatives anything to use against me to try and inflict emotional pain. You don’t have to let them hurt you.
